Laser Teeth Whitening
Over time, your teeth will inevitably tend to age and become stained by foodstuffs, particularly by smoking and drinking coffee, tea and red wine. Teeth are porous and stains can become embedded within them, no matter how much you brush you cannot lift these stains out. The basic principle of how teeth whitening works is the specially formulated gel which is applied to the teeth oxidizes against the tooth into tiny molecules which are smaller than the pores on the teeth. These molecules enter the pores and eradicate the staining. The gels can come in different concentrations for different types of whitening.

The Hollywood Teeth Whitening gel is made in the USA by one of the most respected chemists in the world within their ISO certified plant. The blending of the Hollywood Teeth Whitening gel is unique, its a solution of Glycerin (preservative) and buffered Sodium Bicarbonate. Glycerin is the ingredient, which helps keep the Bicarbonate active for an extended period of time.
Will I Get Sensitivity After Teeth Whitening?
The process can cause some sensitivity. Usually it will dissipate in a day or two. If you already have sensitive teeth, we suggest using Sensodyne toothpaste two weeks prior and post procedure. The fluoride and potassium nitrate will help eliminate the sensitivity by clogging the pores. It does slow down the process slightly, but you will still get great results.
What About White Spots On My Teeth?
You will see a more even colour between the white spots and your teeth. Those spots could have been caused by flourosis (fluoride staining), decalcification (break down of the teeth, on the verge of a cavity) or some sort of trauma to your teeth as a child (a fever or a blow to the mouth). Please be aware there is also a chance that the white spots on the teeth may become even whiter if you have any concerns please visit your dentist.
